The object belongs to wild-growing tree species and is listed in the national plant genetic resources inventories. It is not intended for intensive horticulture and does not possess the characteristics of breeding fruit varieties.

The plant is characterized by small fruits, the width of which is usually less than 30–35 mm, as well as specific morphological traits of fruits and seeds. The species is distinguished by high resistance to local climatic conditions, characteristic of wild forms.
