The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Hlyva ukrainska and Esperen. The tree is characterized by medium vigor, forming a broad, pyramidal or rounded crown. Bearing begins 3–4 years after planting.
The fruits are broad-pyriform or oval in shape with a neck and have thin skin. The fruit flesh is white or cream-colored, juicy, semi-buttery in consistency, possesses a sweet taste and contains no stone cells. The variety is self-fertile.
The fruits ripen in early August and are intended for fresh consumption, as they are not suited for long-term storage. The variety has good resistance to scab and low temperatures, however, it is susceptible to pear leaf blister mite.
