CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous and energetic, with a wide, branched crown; it is characterized by high cold resistance and low maintenance requirements. Fruits are of medium or small size; at harvest, they have a green color with a reddish tinge and contain stone cells in the flesh.
The harvest takes place in October while the fruit is immature. For consumption, the fruits must undergo a ripening process over the course of a month, during which the flesh acquires a dark brown color and becomes sweeter. Fruits can be stored for up to four months and are used fresh or for processing.
