The PERO MOSCATELLO variety group has a centuries-old history and unites several heterogeneous early-ripening forms. It is a summer variety with a fruit ripening period from the end of June to the second half of July. The tree is characterized by an expansive growth habit and is low-growing.
The fruits are predominantly small, have a pyriform shape, green skin with a dark red blush on the sunny side, and juicy yellowish-white flesh. The flavor profile is defined by a characteristic muscat or honey aroma.
The variety is self-incompatible and requires cross-pollination with pollinator varieties such as Williams or Conference.
