CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is of French origin and was historically distributed in various regions of Italy. In pomology, there is confusion with the names, as it was previously identified with "Spadona d'Inverno", however, modern research shows that these are different forms, and the term "Pero Spada" is traditionally attributed to the "Curato" variety.
The fruits of the variety have a medium or large size, a winter maturity period, and are intended for long-term storage and culinary processing. Precise parameters of tree height or indicators of disease resistance are absent due to the fact that this is an ancient heirloom variety without a formalized description.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
