The variety belongs to the summer maturity group; fruits ripen from mid-August to early September. Fruits are medium to large in size, acquiring a bright red color on a yellow background when ripe. The flesh is creamy white, distinguished by its juiciness, delicate texture, and pronounced muscat aroma.
The height of the tree varies depending on the rootstock: on seedling rootstock it reaches 6 meters, on dwarf quince it reaches 3–4 meters. The variety is self-sterile; for a harvest, pollinators such as Konferencija or Bosc are required. It is resistant to cold and wind but sensitive to fire blight. Fruit storage life is limited.
