The variety is a bud mutation of the Williams variety. The tree is of medium vigor, reaching a height of 3–5 meters depending on the rootstock. The variety requires cross-pollination and possesses satisfactory yield and winter hardiness.

Fruits of medium to large size weighing 180–220 g have a regular pear-shaped form and thin skin, which acquires a bright red or maroon color upon ripening. The flesh is creamy white, sweet, tender, and juicy, with a distinct aroma and muscat flavor.

The fruit ripening period falls at the end of summer — beginning of autumn. The variety is for dessert use and is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing.
