The Reale Turinese tree is low-vigor, forming a compact, medium-density narrow-pyramidal crown, which is not prone to thickening with age. Fruiting begins in the 3–4th year after planting, with yields reaching 250 kg per tree. The variety possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to diseases.
The fruits are large, weighing from 240 to 350 g; on young trees, they can reach 530 g. The fruit shape is elongated-pyriform or apple-shaped, the color is green-yellow with a red blush. The skin is thick and coarse, often with russeted spots. The flesh is white and juicy; the fruits are characterized by good transportability.
Harvest maturity occurs at the end of September, consumer maturity in October. In scientific research, the variety is studied in the context of pear genetic resources, in particular its phenological features and response to cold accumulation are examined.
