The tree is vigorous, forms a large pyramidal crown, and is often used in nurseries as a stem builder. Recommended forms are standard or half-standard. The variety is considered hardy, however, it has a predisposition to scab infection under unfavorable weather conditions.

The fruits are pear-shaped with smooth skin, which changes color from light green to light yellow upon ripening with a reddish blush and possible presence of russeting. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy and slightly granular, tending to soften quickly when overripe. The fruits are resistant to wind.

The variety is a dessert type, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, canning and drying. Due to the short storage period of the fruits after harvest, the variety is more common in amateur gardening.
