The variety belongs to old traditional varieties preserved within the framework of maintaining biological diversity in Slovenia. Trees grafted onto wild pear seedlings are distinguished by significant height and the ability to bear fruit for up to 120 years.

Specialized agronomic indicators, such as ripening dates, yield or disease resistance, are not described in open sources, as the variety is not commercial.
