The tree is characterized by low growth vigor and precocity. The variety has a medium flowering period and shows incompatibility when grafted onto quince.
Fruits are large, with a weight of 240–260 g, apple-shaped, and have greenish-yellow skin with patches of russeting. The flesh contains stone cells. The variety is classified as early or medium-early; fruits can be stored for 150 to 180 days.
The variety is used in breeding as a genetic resource for improving fruit storage life.
