The name San Paolo refers to a monumental pear specimen growing in the Casentinesi Forests National Park in Italy. The tree height is 13 meters with a trunk circumference of 4 meters, and its age is estimated at approximately 300 years.

This specimen is identified as a representative of the local Porcinello variety. Fruits of this type belong to late-maturing varieties, are intended for culinary processing, and are characterized by a long keeping quality, lasting until the spring period.
