The variety is historical and, according to genetic studies, includes several different groups rather than being a single breeding variety. The tree is distinguished by medium vigor, energetic development, a vertical branch orientation, a dense crown, and high yield.

The fruits are small in size, have a rounded or pear-shaped form, and a pale green skin. The flesh is white, juicy, and sweet. Due to the delicate consistency of the flesh and a short shelf life, the fruits are intended exclusively for fresh consumption immediately after harvest.

The variety is distinguished by high adaptability to local conditions, low maintenance requirements, and suitability for cultivation in hilly terrain. Fruit ripening traditionally occurs at the end of June.
