A variety of folk selection, known since the 18th century and widespread in central Russia and Finland. Trees are vigorous, forming a pyramidal or broad-pyramidal crown. They enter the fruiting stage in the 8–10th year and are characterized by high annual yields, reaching 250 kg per tree.

Fruits are of medium or below-medium size, pear-shaped, colored yellowish-green or light yellow, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is cream-colored, of coarse consistency, somewhat dry, with a sweet-and-sour taste and astringency. When overripe, the fruits become mealy. Harvest maturity occurs in the third ten-day period of August.
