The variety was obtained by crossing [(P. serotina x D. D'hiver) x Passe Crassane] x TN 30-44. The tree is characterized by weak to medium vigor and bears fruit on short fruit-bearing wood, showing no alternate bearing.
The fruits are truncate-conical in shape and are red on two-thirds of the surface. The fruit flesh is white-yellow, juicy, with a sweet-sour taste.
The variety is resistant to pear scab, has low susceptibility to powdery mildew, and is also characterized by resistance to fire blight and pear psylla.
