Fruits of the Ucciardone variety are characterized by their large size and white flesh, which is not highly juicy. The ripening period occurs in September.

This pear variety is adapted to Mediterranean climatic conditions, which is confirmed by studies on the variety's chill hour requirements for breaking dormancy. In nurseries, the variety is offered as two-year-old saplings approximately 1.5 meters in height.
