The tree has low to medium vigor and is of the spur-type fruiting habit. The variety is self-incompatible; suitable pollinators include Napoca, Williams, Aromat de Bistrita, Kaiser, Passe Crassane, and Republica.

Fruits are medium-sized, weighing 180–200 g, and have a flattened-spherical or bergamot-like shape with characteristic russet spots. The fruit skin is yellow-green; the flesh is buttery, juicy, and sweet with mild acidity and a distinct aroma. The harvest period is from September 15 to October 15, and the shelf life in cold storage is up to two months.

The variety is resistant to pests and major diseases, including a certain degree of tolerance to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) under natural infection.
