Trees of the variety are vigorous, forming a rounded, spreading crown with age. The variety is considered undemanding, adapting well to poor soils and harsh climatic conditions. Fruits are medium-sized, with the surface often covered in russeting. The flesh is firm, dry, and sweet.
Fruits reach harvest maturity in October; consumer maturity occurs from November to January. Due to low juice content, the variety is practically not consumed fresh, but is ideal for making compotes, baking, drying, and the production of juices and distillates.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
