The variety is a Sardinian ecotype intended for open field cultivation. The roots reach 4–5 cm in diameter, have a spherical shape, white firm flesh, and bright red skin. Medium-developed leaves grow upright.
The plant has high resistance to heat, making it suitable for summer sowing, and is also resistant to the formation of internal cavities (pithiness). Information regarding maturity dates in publications varies, indicating early, medium, or medium-late maturity depending on growing conditions.
