The plant forms a leaf rosette. The petioles have a light green color with a reddish tint at the base, which extends about one-third of the length. They reach 60–70 cm in length, are characterized as medium thickness, and have a sweet taste.

The variety is winter-hardy and rarely affected by diseases with proper care. To maintain varietal characteristics, vegetative propagation by division of the bush is recommended, as seed propagation may reduce the purity of the variety.
