The shrub has an upright to broadly spreading form and reaches 1.2 m in height and 1.3 m in width at 10 years of age. Leaves are dark green, glossy, elliptical in shape, 13–15 cm long and 5–5.7 cm wide.
Funnel-shaped flowers with a diameter of 7–8.5 cm are gathered in dense cone-shaped inflorescences of 13–15 pieces. The main tone of the flower is light purple, more intense on the outside, with an expressive purple-red-orange pattern on the upper petal.
The variety is mid-late, the flowering period falls in the second half of May. The frost resistance of the plant is -24 °C.
