The shrub has a dense, upright, and moderately spreading form. Leaves are leathery, elliptical or broadly oval in shape, with a glossy surface. Large flowers about 9 cm in diameter are gathered in conical inflorescences.
The variety is late-flowering, with a flowering period lasting from late May to mid-June. The plant has good resistance to diseases and frost hardiness down to -24°C.
