Variety description

The variety is an upright or semi-spherical shrub with a dense structure and strong shoots. After 10 years, the plant reaches a height of 2–2.2 m with a crown width of about 1.8 m. The leaves are evergreen, leathery, oval-shaped, and dark green with a slight gloss.

Flowering occurs in the second half of May. The flowers are large, wide open, pink-violet in color with an almost white center and characteristic spots of red or red-orange hue on the upper petal. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to –30 °C.
