The bush is of medium size, moderately compact; at 10 years of age, it reaches a height of about 1 meter and a width of about 1.2 meters. Leaves are elliptical, matte, medium-green in color, 13–15 cm long and 3.5–4.2 cm wide, with characteristic light rusty-brown pubescence on the underside.

Flowers are simple, bell-shaped to cup-shaped, 6.2–7.8 cm in diameter, gathered in inflorescences of 12–18 pieces. Petals have a dense waxy texture and are colored red-violet, with a darker shade on the outside; markings or spotting are practically absent. The flowers are odorless.

The variety belongs to the mid-season flowering group, which occurs in May. It is characterized by very good frost resistance and is successfully propagated by the in vitro method.
