The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing "Haaga" and "Kabarett" and belongs to the "Royal Rhododendrons" collection. The mature plant is a shrub 1.8–2 meters tall with a dense semi-domed crown shape.
The leaves are oval, leathery, dark green, up to 12 cm long. The flowers are large, bell-shaped, white-pink in color with a red-burgundy "eye" on the upper petal. The petal edges are strongly ruffled, and the inflorescences are dome-shaped.
Flowering occurs in May; a second wave of flowering is possible in autumn. The variety is characterized by high frost resistance down to –30 °C (zone 4) and increased resistance to diseases and pests. It is intended for solitary and group plantings in parks and home gardens.
