The variety is a large deciduous shrub that reaches 3–3.2 m in height and 2–2.5 m in width at 20 years of age. The plant possesses good winter hardiness and adaptability to the agro-climatic conditions of Latvia.
The flowers of the variety have an unusual shape and delicate petal coloration with a characteristic bright yellow stripe on the upper petal lobe. The flowering period occurs from the end of May to the beginning of June.
