Evergreen shrub with a beautiful, lush, spherical crown shape. At the age of 25 years, it reaches dimensions of 170 by 150 cm; it grows to approximately 1.5 meters in height over a decade. The leaves are large, measuring about 145 by 45 mm.
Funnel-shaped flowers measuring 70 by 70 mm are gathered in large inflorescences. The edges of the petals are slightly wavy, the color is light purple (lavender), and the stamens also have a light purple color. The flowering period occurs in June.
The variety is characterized as winter hardy. It is noted for good vitality and forms lush foliage.
