Variety description

The plant forms a compact broad-rounded bush 1.2 to 1.5 m in height, in some cases reaching 2–2.5 m. Leaves are evergreen, dark green, leathery, and lanceolate or elliptical in shape.
Flowers are gathered in conical inflorescences of 12–16 pieces. When opening, they have an intense ruby-pink hue, which lightens over time, complemented by a large raspberry-red blotch in the center and contrasting white stamens.
The flowering period occurs from the third week of May to mid-June. The frost resistance of the variety is about -22°C. The plant requires well-drained, humous, acidic soils and is sensitive to stagnant moisture.
