The plant belongs to the Rhododendron simsii group and is an erect shrub. The flowers are double, white, and odorless. The leaves are obovate in shape, their surface is covered with hairs, and their color is dark green.
Cultivation requires soils with a pH level from 4.5 to 6.5. The plant is capable of growing in partial shade but tolerates direct sunlight poorly. The variety is used in ornamental landscaping and for creating hedges.
