Variety description

The variety is a hybrid derived from the European and Siberian subspecies of currant, as well as the Aldan currant. Bushes reach a height of 150 cm and have a compact shape.

Berries are black, round, uniform, with an average weight of about 0.69 g. The taste is bittersweet, without a pronounced aroma. Fruits ripen uniformly, which allows for the use of a mechanized harvesting method.

The variety is sensitive to spring frosts due to early onset of vegetation and has a low level of self-pollination. Literature notes the possibility of using the variety in organic farming.
