The variety forms long clusters containing an average of 7–8 berries. The fruits are medium to large, have a flattened-round shape, a soft consistency, and a sweet-and-sour aromatic taste. The vitamin C content is 130–150 mg%. The variety has a medium degree of self-fertility.
In scientific literature, the variety is often mentioned in phytopathological studies as susceptible to a viral disease — blackcurrant reversion virus. Data on resistance to fungal diseases as breeding-significant traits are not presented in the sources.
