The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Minaj Šmirjov and hybrid 67-59-3. The plant forms an average of about 28.6 buds per shoot, which makes it suitable for essential oil production.

The berries are large, firm, and have good taste qualities. The variety possesses good winter hardiness, is moderately susceptible to the blackcurrant gall mite, and the ascorbic acid content varies in the range of 2.2–2.5 mg/g.
