The variety was obtained in 1990 by crossing the varieties Mulgi must and Kantata 50. The bush is vigorous, upright or slightly spreading.

The berries are large, with a harmonious spicy sweet-and-sour taste and a high content of sugars and anthocyanins. Simultaneous ripening in the cluster allows for machine harvesting.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and is resistant to American powdery mildew and the blackcurrant gall mite. It is self-fertile and suitable for use in breeding.
