The variety was obtained as a result of the cross (Junost × Zoja) × Minai Šmõrjov. The medium-sized plant has a semi-erect form with a tendency to be somewhat spreading.

The berries are black, large, shiny, and round in shape, gathered in long clusters of medium density. The skin of the fruit is thin and elastic, the pulp is juicy, and the taste is sweet and sour. The variety is high-yielding and suitable for mechanized harvesting.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness. High resistance to powdery mildew, rust, and bud mite has been noted, with moderate resistance to anthracnose. The berries are of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
