The Aguti variety was developed using wild potato species, in particular Solanum stoloniferum. It is known in scientific literature as a parental form used in the creation of breeding lines and other potato varieties.
The plant possesses resistance to a number of viral diseases and the golden potato cyst nematode (Globodera rostochiensis). A detailed description of morphological traits or a full characterization by maturity group is absent in open sources.
The variety is considered primarily as a breeding object for the transmission of beneficial resistance genes, rather than as a mass-market commercial variety for the consumer market.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
