The variety was bred within the framework of a partnership between Teagasc and IPM Potato Group. The parent forms are the variety Barna and the breeding line T2277/50.
The tubers have an oval-elongated shape. During trials, the variety demonstrated partial resistance to late blight and was evaluated for susceptibility to flesh discoloration and Fusarium dry rot. The variety is intended for global markets and is adapted to various climatic conditions.
