The variety was bred by crossing AR 97-3246 and AR 96-1218. The tubers have a round-oval shape, yellow skin and flesh, and are large in size. Plants form white flowers; foliage development is rapid in the initial stages and average at the end of the growing season.
The product contains 26.1% dry matter and belongs to the floury culinary type. The variety possesses complex resistance to nematodes. It has a short dormancy period and is sensitive to mechanical damage, flesh discoloration, secondary tuber growth, growth cracks, and black spot.
When cultivated, the variety shows minimal sensitivity to metribuzin and low sensitivity to bentazone. It is often used in breeding as a parental form for creating new varieties.
