The variety is a result of crossing Bintje and Quarta varieties. Tubers have an oval shape, smooth light-yellow skin, and cream-colored flesh. Dry matter content in the tubers is about 23%. Plants are characterized by a sturdy stem and high yield, adapted for cultivation in warm climate conditions.
The potato shows resistance to viruses, golden potato cyst nematode, and potato wart, however, it is characterized by limited resistance to late blight of leaves and tubers. The variety is in demand in cooking and the processing industry due to good texture and suitability for frying.
