The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Chieftain and Stirling varieties. The plant is characterized by sturdy stems, vigorous vegetative mass, and light purple flowers. The vegetation period is 105–120 days.
Tubers are large, round-oval in shape, with smooth red skin and deep red eyes. Tuber flesh is white. The variety shows resistance to scab, blackleg, and Phytophthora leaf blight.
The potato is suitable for long-term storage and transportation due to its resistance to mechanical damage. High dry matter content allows it to be used both for fresh market sales and for processing, including the production of French fries.
