The variety has oval tubers with yellow skin and light yellow flesh. It is distinguished by a high starch content of about 21% with a low sugar content. Specialized for processing into potato flakes and granules.
The plant possesses high resistance to potato cyst nematode, potato wart, and potato leafroll virus, A, X, Yn. It has medium resistance to late blight and common scab, and tolerates drought well.
When grown, the variety is sensitive to herbicides based on bentazone and requires the application of microelements such as boron and calcium. It is also noted to be demanding regarding storage conditions.
