The plant forms a compact bush, not prone to rapid spreading across the site. The leaves are deeply dissected, glossy, and bright green with a pronounced dark pattern along the veins and in the center; in spring, young leaves can be almost completely black.
The flowers are small, star-shaped, white or light pink, collected in upright racemes and have a light fragrance. Flowering occurs from May to July. The bush height is about 20 cm, with flower stalks up to 30 cm.
The variety has high winter hardiness (USDA zones 4–9) and resistance to deer damage. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in shady or semi-shady locations and is used in borders and container compositions.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
