Tiarella 'Cygnet' is a compact rhizomatous perennial. Dark green leaves have a deeply dissected palmate-lobed shape with a characteristic black or purple spot in the center.
The plant blooms profusely in spring, forming dense racemose inflorescences on stiff upright peduncles. The height of the leaf rosette reaches 30–35 cm, peduncles rise up to 48 cm, and the width of the bush is about 40 cm.
The variety is winter hardy, suitable for USDA zones 4–9. The plant prefers shaded locations, suitable for borders, rock gardens, moist areas, and container gardening. The variety may be susceptible to powdery mildew, slug and weevil damage.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
