Variety description

The plant forms neat, dense clumps 20–25 cm high and 40–45 cm wide. The leaves are deeply dissected, resembling a snowflake or a maple leaf; their color is green with a distinct dark maroon or purple pattern along the veins. The variety is semi-evergreen.

The flowers are small, creamy-white, gathered in racemose inflorescences rising above the foliage, and have a light fragrance. Flowering occurs in the spring period. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, hardiness, and is adapted to hardiness zones 4–9.

The variety is intended for cultivation in shade or partial shade in humus-rich, moist, and well-drained soils. It is used as a groundcover plant, in borders, containers, or as a decorative crop for shady areas of the garden.
