Variety description

The variety forms a compact, dense bush 25 to 35 cm tall; including flower stalks, the height reaches 35–48 cm. The leaves are lobed, velvety, and dark green with a characteristic black or dark purple center and dark stripes along the veins. The plant is semi-evergreen.

The flowers are small, white with a pinkish tint, and gathered in upright racemose inflorescences with a faint scent. Flowering occurs in the spring period, primarily in April–May. The plant is fast-growing and belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9.

Cultivation requires humus-rich, moist, but well-drained soils in partial shade or full shade conditions. The variety is sensitive to soil drying out and moisture stagnation during the winter period. It may be susceptible to powdery mildew and can be damaged by slugs and weevils.
