Variety description

10 August 2026

The Lueg variety is a winter form of spelt. During the breeding period, it was considered a high-yielding alternative to varieties such as Oberkulmer Rotkorn and Ostro.

The plant possesses higher yield than traditional local varieties. At the same time, processors and consumers noted the lack of technological and baking qualities typical for spelt. Plant height is approximately 122 cm.
