The variety is of alternative habit and can be grown with both late autumn and spring sowing. The plant is characterized by medium height and an awned ear. The grain has a red color, high hardness, and a thousand kernel weight of 34–36 g. The test weight is 79–81 kg/hl.
The variety is moderately resistant to lodging and Fusarium, and moderately sensitive to brown rust.
