Triticum aestivum L. Bread wheat · Agricultural · bred by LEGLAND (FR)

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was created as a result of crossing Elite le Peuple and Poncheau. In scientific literature, it is most often mentioned in the context of breeding research as an object for analyzing the allelic composition of glutenins and studying the response to leaf rust, yellow rust, and septoria.

Historically, the variety was considered an example of breeding for the improvement of baking qualities in Northwestern European countries. Today, Flinor is represented primarily in genetic resource databases and is used for research purposes rather than in mass agricultural production.
