The variety belongs to winter bread wheat varieties. Its genealogy includes resistance genes Pm 8, Lr 26, Sr 31, Yr 9, inherited from the Kavkaz variety. The variety is characterized as a hard-grain type wheat with a confirmed presence of specific high-molecular-weight glutenin alleles responsible for baking quality.

In comparative trials, the variety demonstrated high spike productivity, exceeding a number of standards in grain count. In addition, the variety was used in scientific experiments to study mechanisms of resistance to aluminum toxicity.
