The variety is a product of the research center in Martonvasar. In scientific literature, it became known due to its participation in comparative trials on yield and resistance to pathogens in the late 1990s and 2000s.

The plant possesses pronounced resistance to stem rust, the level of infection of which is estimated as low. Breeding work on the variety included measures to improve grain quality and optimize the glutenin composition.
