The variety belongs to the winter soft wheat type. The plant reaches a height of about 85 cm and shows dependence on day length.

In scientific research, the variety is often used as a reference genotype for studying physiological parameters, such as shoot development and microelement accumulation. The variety also serves as an object of genetic research on resistance to pathogens, including the study of Lr34/Yr18 markers.
